We have had the privilege of working with Midcoast Marble & Granite out of West Bath, Maine on two occasions. In the first instance, we ordered a gorgeous figured stone slab for an island counter top. We were delayed due to changes in construction schedules, and they were patient and gracious as we and our contractors worked through that. The countertop was delivered and installed with skill and care. The end product was beautiful. Our second experience was likewise. We placed an order for several pieces that were quickly measured and installed. The folks at Midcoast Marble & Granite provided good advice and worked to help keep costs manageable with an end product that surpassed our expectations by way of service and craftsmanship. We had a “box store“ come and measure for new countertops.. The guy said our cupboards were not “perfect “ so they couldn’t do the job for us! I was so saddened and thought we would have to have new cupboards installed.

I went in and ordered the granite, they came down measured and said they could do the job….. they had a slack between jobs and came back the next week and installed our amazing new countertops. It feels like we have a new house. The guys were so nice and very professional. We couldn’t ask for a better outcome!

Midcoast Marble & Granite (MMG) templated and installed our kitchen counters and bathroom vanity granite counters. While the lead times were long for both projects, we were able to plan sufficiently in advance that there were no delays in the associated projects. Once on the schedule, the projects went according to plan. The workmanship was outstanding, and we were thrilled with the finished product. We were able to shop for slabs at a large warehouse in MA, and coordination with MMG for delivery of the slabs to Maine was seamless. We were able to stop at the shop in West Bath and work on the layout of slab cuts for our job.

The workmanship was excellent. Our ability to shop for slabs at a massive warehouse and then ship to MMG gave us nearly infinite choices for slabs.
