Selecting the appropriate natural stone for your project is crucial.
Here are some brief descriptions and characteristics of commonly used natural stones:

Granite
Recognized for its durability and natural beauty, it comes in a wide range of colors and patterns and is resistant to heat, scratches, and stains. It requires periodic sealing for upkeep.
Marble
It is elegant and timeless with the iconic classic white with gray veining. It is softer than granite and more prone to etching and staining. Frequent sealing and gentle care are recommended.
Quartzite
It looks similar to marble but is harder and highly durable and heat-resistant. It is less porous than marble, making it less prone to staining. Occasional sealing is required.
Slate
It has a dark, rustic appearance with a matte finish and is resistant to heat and stains. It adds a unique, earthy character to countertops and is low maintenance and simple to clean.
Soapstone
It has a dark, matte appearance with a smooth texture and is resistant to heat and stains. Over time, it develops a natural patina, and minimal maintenance is required.
