Al began fabricating stone counter tops out of the back of his pickup truck in the driveways of his customers. His attention to quality and detail caught the admiration of homeowners and his reputation grew by word of mouth. As the business increased, Al rented a small shop in West Bath where he did about one counter top a week.

The Bath fabrication facility now has over 200 slabs of natural stone in stock and allows Al to handle his current volume of about 10 counter tops a week, as well as specialty stone work such as custom shower stalls, bathrooms, slate farm sinks, fireplaces and hearths.
